Welcome to Inspired Hearts Boutique. If this is your first time here, then you are in the right place to get to know what we do. I should mention that I do use 'we, our, us' a lot even though I'm a one women show. The reason why I use plural words when talking about my boutique is because it's not just about me. It's about my boutique and most importantly, YOU. Before I get into why it's about you, let me explain why I started this boutique.
HOW WE GOT STARTED
In September 2017, I started my journey with a MLM (multi-level marketing) clothing company. I was so excited that I found something that I could do to support my family while being home. I put in a lot of work in transforming my home office into my little in home boutique. I truly enjoyed pairing outfits, helping women feel confident in what they wear, and selling the clothing. I felt like I found what I was meant to do in life. Inspire women to be confident and feel good in what they wear.
The day after Thanksgiving in 2017, our family lost everything, including our two beloved pets, due to a house fire. It was such a traumatic thing that I never thought once that would happen to my family and I. Not only did we lose our brand new 16 month old home, our pets, and my MLM clothing boutique, I also lost my second up and coming business using my silhouette cameo.
A few months after, my husband suggested that I get back into designing things since it was something I enjoyed doing. The more I played with the idea of designing new things, the more I thought on what I wanted to do. I still wanted to inspire and encourage women in away that I know how. Inspire others through clothing. Therefore, in March 2018, Twisted Love Boutique came to life offering witty and inspirational graphic shirts.
HOW INSPIRED HEARTS CAME ABOUT
I'm sure you're thinking, Twisted Love Boutique? That's not where I'm at, and you're right. Twisted Love Boutique is the name we started with. The more I evolved in my business and healing from our house fire, I was going in a different direction from when I started.
I'm a believer when it comes to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the bible. After our house fire and a few other things that happened after, I needed to find my way back. The only way I knew how to get back to me, is going to God himself and following his teachings again. But I promise you, I'm not perfect, I have my moments, and I'm truly down-to-earth.
I felt like 'twisted' wasn't a great word to use for my brand or mission and to tell you the truth, I'm still finding my way and place in life and business life. I wanted a name that explained my mission without actually explaining it. I felt like 'inspired hearts' was the prefect choice for me and what I want to do within my business.
Like I said before, I'm still finding my way and learning from God's teachings. Reading the bible is still new to me and I'm learning how to apply some of the scriptures to use in my own life. (I'll talk more about this on another day).
One verse truly spoke to me and pretty much explained what my mission for my business is. I want to inspire others to be kind and encourage others to grow stronger in faith. This is something I know I can do through my designs. It's something that can easily speak to our minds, hearts, and souls. It's something I've always been truly passionate about.
AND THIS IS WHERE IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU! Everything I design, I design for you. I have you in the back of my mind and praying that I can encourage you to find peace within your own life. I think of how one of my shirts can uplift you, by wearing that reminder that you are strong, and that you will get through your struggle. I think about how one of my coffee mugs can help remind you to be kind to others to shine a light in their life. I think about how you are learning God's teachings just as I am.
I have lots more to share with you and plan to post more on my blog. I have so many new ideas and things I would like to share with you. I also want to bring you along my journey with this wonderful business I'm building. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post. I know it's a long one.
Until next time my friend.
